Calculator experiment in a primary school
This paper describes an investigation into the use of hand-held electronic calculators in the teaching of mathematics in a primary school. It outlines, with examples of teaching material and children's responses, various ways in which calculators were used and assesses their impact on different parts of the Primary Mathematical curriculum.
