These resources for ages 7-11 are to inspire wonder about the ocean, explain our relationship with it and to showcase careers that involve working closely with it from the people in the know.
The lesson plans and accompanying activities are designed to introduce classes to what it is like to be an ocean explorer. Each lesson is designed around a ‘mission’, set by a big name in the marine world, to explore a particular science or geography topic.
