A Level Student Booster - Network Fundamentals (Post-event materials)

In this online session you will have learned about Networking Fundamentals. The session was aimed at A Level students in Year 11. The event discussed the fundamental concepts you need to know for your exams for networking. By attending this event, you will have:

  • Recognised the different network types and their uses
  • Recognised the advantages and disadvantages of the client server and peer to peer network models
  • Understood network addressing, including the basics of IP and MAC addresses
  • Understood the communication principles used in wireless networks
