Teacher's guide to mathland

Mathland is a problem-solving adventure.There are expert and novice versions of Mathland.The teacher's guide contains the solutions to both versions, charts of the route through Mathland and a photocopiable map sheet for each version. Mathland is a problem-solving adventure.

Pupils are given a problem to solve by an inhabitant of Mathland - the answer determines the next page they go to. The problems come from all areas of maths (apart from statistics) and are intended to stimulate both analytical and empirical approaches.
