KS3 science: physical processes - the workbook (AT4 Levels 3-7)

Aimed at older primary level, these resources help to put curriculum science in a real life context and provide many opportunities for working scientifically.

They link to work on forces aiming to extend understanding to the application of forces used in sorting and recycling materials. Children investigate processes such as separating by magnetism, floating and sinking, friction and crushing forces. An optional activity see children making recycled paper from newspaper.

The activities produced by the Centre for Industry Education Collaboration (CIEC), are supported by extensive teacher guidance and children's activity sheets.
