Hypothesis testing 3: the Wilcoxon matched pairs test and the runs test

This resource from the Continuing Mathematics project is made up of three units covering hypothesis testing. The third unit introduces two final tests, namely the Runs Test and the Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test with objectives that students will be able to use the Wilcoxon Matched Pairs test and the Runs test where appropriate, learn to distinguish between matched and independent samples, and gain some confidence and ability in hypothesis testing generally from the practice gained in using a variety of statistical examples.
