Summary

Gain the confidence you need to teach KS1 primary design and technology. This short course will help you to develop your subject knowledge and gather ideas to deliver the D&T curriculum effectively. Learn how to plan opportunities for children to be creative and use their imaginations to solve real and relevant problems. You will consider the skills, materials and processes needed to make a designed product and to test and evaluate to suggest further improvements. 

This course is complemented by design and technology in lower KS2 and Design and technology in upper key stage 2.
